This includes $4.7 million for Highway 5 improvements in the City of Waconia, $6.4 million for critical water infrastructure upgrades in Laketown Township, and $2.1 million for the Chanhassen Bluffs Community Center.
These projects are part of the bonding bill included in the end-of-session agreement
“I’m thrilled to deliver more than $13 million in local infrastructure investments to our district,” said Sen. Coleman. “These projects will strengthen public health and safety, improve transportation for residents and businesses, and give a significant boost to our local economy. This is a major win for our community that will benefit us for years to come."
The end-of-session deal also includes a one-year $250 million tax cut for Minnesota drivers through tab fee reductions, effective January 1, 2027.
