Voting

The 2020 Minnesota Primary election is on Tuesday, August 11!

Request your absentee ballot and vote safely from home

Anyone in Minnesota can request an absentee ballot and vote from home for any reason. You can apply to receive a ballot at the Secretary of State’s website by clicking here. Make sure you request ballots for both the Primary and General elections so you can cast your vote for Julia Coleman in the primary!

Requesting a ballot by mail

If you prefer not to send your ballot request to the Secretary of State through the website, there is also a paper application available. Fill out the short form below and we will happily mail you an application including a pre-addressed stamped envelope to send it in to the Secretary of State.

  • You can request more than one application if you have more than one eligible voter in your household.

Print and mail the form yourself

You can also download a copy of the ballot application form from the Secretary of State’s website and print it yourself. The form should be mailed to the Carver County elections office at:

Government Center – Administration Bldg
600 E Fourth St
Chaska, MN 55318-2102

or returned by fax to 952-361-1919 or by email to elections@co.carver.mn.us
