Coleman Reports Raising Over $1.7 Million In Q4 2007 With Strong Minnesota Support

Campaign Will Report $6 million Cash-on-Hand

SAINT PAUL – The Coleman campaign today reported raising $1.72 million in the fourth quarter of 2007, with over $6 million in cash-on-hand, nearly twice that of Sen. Coleman’s nearest opponent. More than 60% of the quarter's individual contributors came from Minnesota, with more than 4,000 Minnesotans contributing for the first time in this election cycle.

"Folks in Minnesota are getting involved with the campaign in a big way both financially and on a grassroots level and that's reflected in our fundraising," said Coleman Campaign Manager Cullen Sheehan. "Minnesotans share Senator Coleman's positive vision for our state, and they're backing that support up with action."

In addition, Minnesotans account for more than 67% of all individual contributors to the campaign in this election cycle.
