Bill Has Coleman Housing Relief Provision For Vets

A Senate-approved housing bill includes a provision by Senator Norm Coleman that would give returning veterans more time to work out mortgage problems upon their return.
The Senate approved the overall bill on an 84-12 vote.
The provision by Coleman, a Minnesota Republican, would give returning veterans nine months to work out their mortgage problems -- up from three months.
