Drawing Support From Both Sides

Even prominent, life-long Democrats know that Norm Coleman is the best suited choice to represent Minnesota in the US Senate.  Over the weekend, DFLer and former State Senate Tax Committee Chairman Doug Johnson enthusiastically endorsed Senator Coleman's re-election bid.  Johnson said that Norm Coleman will be the only Republican he has voted for in his more than 40 years of being an eligible voter.  He believes that solving the critical issues facing the Iron Range and our country need Norm Coleman's continued leadership and experience.  Read more of former State Senator Doug Johnson's comments here.

It should be noted that former State Senator Johnson is a paid lobbyist for Excelsior Energy, a company that is benefiting from Senator Coleman's support of the 2005 Energy Bill. Quid pro quo?

Don't you get it? All your disgusting attack ads just prove you are unfit to be a leader. You and your campaign lackeys should be ashamed of yourselves. If you are going to say such awful stuff and put it on TV, put it on after 9:00 so my kids do not have to witness such crap. Where is that moral compass when we need it? My mother always said, don't say anything you wouldn't be ashamed to say in front of Grandma... it was good advice.
