Setting the Record Straight

Just a day after the launch of the Coleman Truth Squad, the Coleman campaign has released a new ad that sets the record straight about Norm Coleman’s support for Medicare’s prescription drug benefit for seniors. Contrary to his opponent’s lies about the Senator’s record, Norm supported legislation that provides more than half a million Minnesota seniors better access to prescription drug benefits – legislation Al Franken opposes.  Senator Coleman broke with his party and voted to allow Medicare to negotiate with drug companies, and, unlike Al Franken, he strongly opposes turning health care over to government bureaucrats.

Minnesotans deserve the truth about the accomplishments each candidate brings into this election. Norm Coleman is proud to put his 30 years of work for Minnesota and his record of success for our state up against Al Franken’s angry rants, false accusations and misleading smears. The campaign will be working hard over the next 47 days to continue spreading our positive message of accomplishment while refuting the desperate lies and mistruths coming from the other side.

Latest Commercials

As an avid Coleman supporter for years his latest commercials practically endorse Franken outright. To see Franken with such passion while holding others accountable is quite different from Coleman, who's never shown even half as much as Franken. Coleman, shame on you for thinking that we Minnesotans are so ignorant as to not see Franken's passion with your latest commercial. You've lost my vote!!!
