Good news! Senator Coleman earned the endorsement of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association.  He proudly announced it on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol today.

 

Both Senator Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken interviewed for the endorsement, MPPOA Executive Director Bill Gillespie said. And it was Senator Coleman’s excellent record of working hand-in-hand with law enforcement that set him apart.

 

“Senator Coleman’s has listened to our concerns and acted on our behalf on issues such as Byrne Grants and Justice Department technology grants, COPS program funding and the Social Security Fairness Act of 2007,” Gillespie said.
