Coleman Campaign Releases “Bringing Families Together” Web Video

The Coleman for Senate Campaign released a webvideo today entitled, “Bringing Families Together” featuring a St. Louis Park Minnesota family and their story of how Senator Coleman and his office worked to help them adopt a child.

The family, Jason and Rachel Thimjon, share how they flew to Haiti to pick up their daughter Nadia and, while in-flight learned, that adoption rules had changed. Upon landing, they realized that without assistance they might remain in Haiti for an extended period of time without being able to finalize the adoption of their daughter.

As a result of Senator Coleman’s direct intervention, the family was able to return to the United States with their daughter – and their new family.
