Minnesota Farm Bureau endorses Coleman

Good news! The Minnesota Farm Bureau, a group comprised of nearly 30,000 members and 78 county Farm Bureaus across the state, announced today that Sen. Norm Coleman has earned its endorsement. Norm is honored to receive the backing of the important group, and he will continue to work hard to ensure that Minnesota's farmers can continue feeding and fueling the nation.

Senator Coleman is proud of his work on the Farm Bill, which was recently signed into law. This bill will improve the lives of Minnesotans everywhere-both rural and urban-as it will keep the critical safety net intact, expand the use of renewable fuels, establish a permanent disaster assistance program, invest heavily in nutrition and food assistance programs and provide for the largest conservation investment in farm bill history.

how can the farmers union support norm coleman

i do not understand this endorsement by any means i am not sure but i do not think that this bill gets to the bottom of helping the small family farm and the smaller acreaage owner and smaller producer there needs to be a level playing field for the family farm also a fairer bill for the midwest dairy producer the only kind of farm this bill helps is i feel the producers of sugar beets thank-you david roberts

Minnesota Farm Bureau endorses Coleman

A straw poll of a specific demographic can never be extrapolated to represent the entire state. The poll only indicates that Franken is doing more horribly with farmfest folks than he is statewide… and also that Obama isn’t all that popular amongst the same set of respondents.
