"Bringing People Together" Tour

Today Senator Coleman will officially announce his candidacy for reelection to the U.S. Senate, kicking off a four-day “Bringing Minnesota Together Tour,” across this great state. We’re expecting enthusiastic turnouts from Moorhead to Albert Lea because folks are excited to keep Minnesota’s Mayor in Washington. Franken Says…
In his first year, when President Bush's approval ratings were high, he voted with the President 98% of the time.
The Facts Say…Al, there you go again.
In 2003, while CQ found Sen. Coleman to have supported the President 98% of the time, it also found him to be the eighth most likely Republican to break from his party on party unity votes, at 92%. The 2006 survey placed him in exactly the same position - eighth most independent Republican.

Senator Coleman To Fight Against Democratic Tax Increases

This week the Senate will begin voting on a new budget. Written by the Democratic allies of Al Franken, the budget increases government spending by as much as $211 billion and which would be paid for by record tax increases.
