Day two of the recount is wrapping up and we here at the Coleman campaign are very pleased with the results so far, with only a few unexplained discrepancies that our team is keeping a close eye on.

Now that Day Two of the Great Minnesota Recount is underway, here are a couple of points that are worth reviewing....

The Great Minnesota Recount: Day One

As expected, a few hiccups here and there – some confusion – and some unresolved issues. We’ve attached a picture below from an observer in St. Louis County to give you an “inside look” at how chaotic it was earlier today in that county. But, by and large, about what we expected from the first day of the Great Minnesota Recount. The numbers went up a little for each candidate – and some of the challenged ballots resulted in everyone’s numbers changing.

JUDGE FINDS MERIT THAT FRANKEN MADE FALSE STATEMENTS AGAINST SENATOR COLEMAN -- November 3, 2008

A Minnesota State Administrative Law Judge today decided that there is primae facie evidence that Al Franken and the Franken for Senate campaign may have violated Minnesota law by knowingly or recklessly making false statements in order to defeat Senator Coleman.
